This was sent completely tarnished and unusable. It’s completely obvious how badly tarnished it is and is representative of it being old/stored improperly. I took a photo comparison of the tarnished wire, next to untarnished… to prove how easy it is to discern the quality of the wire sent to me. It’s going to be returned.Very happy with this purchase. I use this square wire for copper jewelry. When I originally began making jewelry I was told to use a soft temper wire. Being an active individual I wasn't happy with the durability. I ordered this half hard and I'm hooked. Still extremely easy to work with. Brings some strength to the creation. Less unwanted Knicks and scratches over time. Wire always arrives flawless. I will keep coming back!!I received the correct length, gauge and shape of wire that I ordered but it arrived heavily tarnished with chunky spots of oxidation. I was told to clean the wire with alcohol and the tarnish should just come off. It’s not really coming off.I paid for wire under the assumption that it would be in good condition, not come as a project itself. I make jewelry and the high quality of my work requires high quality materials. The picture shows the tarnished wire in my hand and in the background you can see an older length of similar wire that has been sitting out in my studio and is completely untarnished, for comparison. 1 Star for product quality.Loved the way this wire looked when wrapped on crystals!i bought this to make jewelry and it’s so hard to bend even using my pliers. i didn’t think it would be that bad because it’s only half hard but i think it’s fully hard wire because gotdamn!
