I wanted a hat that wouldn't tower way above my head, and this exactly that; it sits right on the top of my head with its low crown. It's a perfect fit and is well made. The leather looks good, not cheap looking, not slick looking or too dressy, just smooth, real leather. It has a flexible wire in the rim, not stiff enough to make it take any weird shape, just enough to keep the brim from drooping. It looks good, even on me. I couldn't be more pleased.
