I have washed it a few times on a regular washing machine setting and it looks as good as new. I ordered a second one for my son.Seems well made. I'm very pl.eased with it. I do hear the wind on the rear flap but otherwise the hat feels unobtrusive and certainly seems to give good sun protection. I can't comment on long tgerm durabiliyt but it seems really well made for such a low price. The key ferature that prmpted me to buy this was the neck protection that the flap affords. This is a keeper.Floppier than I thought but it does give good head and neck protection.
